Ways to help out

First off let's not forget the purpose of this blog is for people to share their memories of Karli so that one day her beautiful baby boy can look back and know who his mother was. So let's hear those stories.

The Community of Reno has been an amazing support system for everyone in these hard times and have really pulled together to help out this beautiful family. Here are some ways to help out.

All of their earnings that day will go straight to the family. $20 men's cuts, $40 women's, $30 blow dry & style, & $100 cut/colors. A portion of all product sales will also go to them so even if you don't need your hair done, come by and pick up some product. Or just come by and donate. They will also be accepting boys items from clothes to car seats to strollers. Anything helps!

Again Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for all the support!!

  1. Is there anything specific Baby Bodie needs at this point? I'm sure much has been received, and I have a lot I would love to donate if needed... thanks!

  3. Hi - My heart absolutely goes out to you all during this time. I wanted to stop by to let you know - and someone may have already informed you, but just in case no one has - of an organization called The Liz Logelin Foundation. It was started by a man who lost his wife shortly after birth, and it gives absolutely no-strings attached financial grants to families who have lost a parent/partner. All you have to do is apply. I'm a donor and I know they would love to help out - they can also offer familial support as well. Here's the link:

If you have any questions about the process, there are email addresses for those directly involved with the foundation to answer any questions. They are also on Twitter (@hopeforwidows). Again, I am so terribly saddened by this news. So much strength to you all.
